You’re selling stuff on Facebook Marketplace, NextDoor, or Craig’s List. Someone contacts you about an item you have listed, often immediately and with suspiciously strong interest. They do not haggle, ask few questions, and are eager to pay quickly. They say they can’t meet in person because they’re out of town, in the military, a truck driver en route, or whatever.
